Salford Red Devils are pleased to announce that Kris Welham has extended his stay at the club.
The centre, who produced a man of the match performance in the Red Devilsโ last fixture, will now form part of head coach Ian Watsonโs squad for the 2020 campaign.
Welham said: โIโm really happy to be staying. I love the club. The boys here are great and the fans get behind us every week.
โWhen I knew they wanted me to stay and there was a deal on the table, it was a no brainer.
โIโm playing well at the minute and I think the most consistent time in my career has been the three years Iโve spent here.
โThatโs credit to Watto, with the way he coaches and has me playing, and Iโm pleased to be continuing that next season.โ
He added: โMe and Tui (Lolohea) have linked up well so far. Heโs created a couple of tries for me and with him here next year, Iโm sure there are good things to come.
โThis year, weโre focusing on making that top five and next year we want to improve on that.โ

A brace of tries against Catalans Dragons added to Welhamโs tally of more than 150 tries in 300 career appearances.
Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson said: โHaving Kris onboard for next season is a massive positive for us.
โHeโs been one of our most consistent performers since arriving in 2017 and his displays in recent weeks have shown the level of contribution he will continue to make.
โKris has an important impact on the squad both on and off the field.
โHe really buys into everything we do at the club and for that reason is valued by everyone at Salford Red Devils.โ

Welhamโs impressive form has seen him score in Salfordโs last six fixtures.
Salford Red Devils director of rugby and operations Ian Blease said: โWeโre delighted to have agreed another year with Kris.
โKris is a model professional, whoโs been a tremendous acquisition for us and continues to be an important part of the squad and club as a whole.
โHeโs a fine example of how to conduct yourself on and off the pitch and how to keep yourself fit and motivated at the elite level, in the modern era.
โFor me, Kris has led the way for Salford Red Devils in a true and consistent manner throughout his time at the club and we look forward to him having another successful season with us in 2020.โ
Welham and his teammates will next be in action on Sunday afternoon, when they travel to face London Broncos.
