Extra 1873 Suite tickets available for Sunday’s game against London

Salford Red Devils can confirm that there has been extra space made available in the 1873 Suite for Sunday’s game against London Broncos. 
Fans can purchase tickets for the 1873 suite by visiting the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office, calling 0161 786 1570 or clicking HERE. Remember, prices do rise on gameday so to get the best price for your 1873 ticket purchase ahead of Sunday.
Alternatively, for fans who have already purchased their tickets or 2019 Season Tickets for Sunday’s game, you can upgrade your ticket for this game by simply paying the difference between your original ticket price and the price of your 1873 ticket.
Upgrades must be done at the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office or over the phone on 0161 786 1570. Supporters can upgrade on the day of the game at the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office, again by simply paying the different.
Fans cannot upgrade via TicketMaster.

Salford Red Devils fans are reminded that they can save money if they purchase their tickets for Sunday’s game against London Broncos in advance of gameday.
The 2019 Betfred Super League season introduces a new pricing structure for Salford Red Devils fixtures meaning it is now cheaper to purchase your ticket prior to gameday at the The Salford Stadium, over the phone on 0161 786 1570 or online HERE.
Prices will rise across the board on gameday which means it is beneficial to supporters to purchase their tickets in advance.
The easiest way to purchase your ticket for Sunday’s clash with the newly-promoted Broncos is by doing so online, simply click HERE.
However, purchasing a Season Ticket is still the best value for money to watch Salford Red Devils throughout the 2019 Betfred Super League season. You will save the cost of more than two matches by purchasing a 2019 Season Ticket.

Squad | Ian Watson names squad for 2019 opener against Huddersfield

Salford Red Devils Head Coach Ian Watson has named his first 19-man squad of the season as his side travel to the John Smith’s Stadium to face Huddersfield Giants on Friday evening, 7:45pm kick-off.
New signings Ken Sio and Gil Dudson are both in line to make their competitive debuts for the Red Devils after arriving in the off-season.
Jansin Turgut and Joey Lussick both featured in last year’s Qualifiers campaign but could make their Betfred Super League bows for the Red Devils on Friday evening.
Kris Welham comes into the squad after missing the Red Devils most recent pre-season friendly against Wigan Warriors.
Ed Chamberlain and Josh Wood are recovering from injuries however Logan Tomkins – who missed the backend of last season – is included in the 19-man squad.

Tickets for Friday’s game against Huddersfield Giants are still available to purchase from the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office up until 4pm on Friday 1st February and are also available over the phone on 0161 786 1570.
Supporters can purchase over the phone and pick up their tickets at either the The Salford Stadium or John Smith’s Stadium Ticket Office in advance of the game.

2019 Open Day to take place on Saturday

Salford Red Devils are delighted to reveal finalised details for Saturday’s open day in the 1873 Suite of the The Salford Stadium.
We’ve collated all the key information for Red Devils supporters surrounding the event.

Squad Builder Members

Our 2019 Squad Builder members, sponsors and club partners are invited to join us from 11am in the 1873 Suite in a period of exclusivity at Saturday’s event.
Squad Builder members will be handed their official membership cards and certificate on arrival with their membership cards gaining them access to future Squad Builder events.
Platinum Squad Builder members will also collect their Anglesey hotel voucher on entry before they will be invited outside to the West Stand seating to be involved with a Salford Red Devils team photo at approximately 11:45am.
Squad Builder members are welcome to bring a +1 to the event however in the case of Platinum members only one member will be included in the team photo.
It is important that fans who are not members of the Squad Builder do not try to enter the 1873 suite during this time as access will not be granted unless you are a member of the Squad Builder initiative.

General Admission 

The 1873 suite will be open to Salford Red Devils fans, who are not members of the Squad Builder initiative, at 12:30pm.
At approximately 1pm, the Salford Red Devils 2019 squad will enter the room one-by-one and take centre stage along with the coaching staff. Once every player has taken to the stage interviews with Ian Watson and a number of players will take place.
Following the interview section of the afternoon, Salford Red Devils players will be available for photograph opportunities and to sign autographs.
There will also be an opportunity for any supporters who are not yet currently a member of our innovative Squad Builder scheme to sign-up and reap the amazing benefits that come alongside.
Drinks will be available for supporters to purchase throughout the afternoon.

Club Shop

Salford Red Devils can confirm that our online store provider – WildThang – will be present at Saturday’s event and supporters will be able to purchase a range of merchandise ahead of the 2019 season.
The Club Shop will only be taking purchases on the day and will not be doing exchanges or refunds at the event. If you are looking to exchange an item or would like a refund on a purchase, you must do so via their online store here.

Ticketing

While you are down at the The Salford Stadium for Saturday’s event you will be able to purchase tickets for a range of upcoming Red Devils fixtures.
However, we’d encourage fans to purchase 2019 Season Tickets which are still available from the Club Ticket Office on Saturday. You can purchase in one payment via cash or card or can sign up to our Direct Debit payment scheme. Season Ticket collections will also be available from Reception. In addition, tickets for our opening game of the 2019 Betfred Super League season against Huddersfield Giants at the John Smiths Stadium on Friday 1st February will also be available to purchase. You can also book onto the supporters’ coach for the game with Season Ticket holders getting travel at a discounted rate. All details here.
Tickets for our opening three home Betfred Super League games of 2019 will also be on sale – London Broncos (Sunday 10th February), Leeds Rhinos (Sunday 17th February) and St Helens (Thursday 28th February). For 2019 ticket prices, click here.
Finally, tickets for our 2019 Dacia Magic Weekend clash with Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday 26th May, 1pm kick-off, at Anfield will also be available to purchase. Tickets | First three home games of 2019 now available

Tickets for our first three home games of the Betfred Super League season are now on sale. 
Supporters can now buy tickets for our fixtures against London Broncos, Leeds Rhinos and St Helens from the The Salford Stadium Club Ticket Office, over the phone on 0161 786 1570 or online by clicking here. 
The Red Devils are set to host newly-promoted London Broncos on Sunday 10th February, 3pm. This is the first game since the Club’s decision to move the majority of our Betfred Super League games to Sundays.
This will also be the first chance to see new signings Ken Sio, Adam Lawton and Gil Dudson in competitive action for the Red Devils. Be sure to purchase your tickets for our home opener of the 2019 season.
Ian Watson’s side are set to face Leeds Rhinos on Sunday 17th February, 3pm kick-off before hosting St Helens on Thursday 28th February, 7:45pm kick-off.

Ian Watson | “We’re definitely excited.”

Ahead of tomorrow’s pre-season friendly against Swinton Lions, Salford Red Devils Head Coach Ian Watson gave his thoughts on a variety of topics including pre-season, his squad and this weekend’s opponents.

On getting back underway…

“We’re really excited. We’ve got through all the tough stuff in pre-season and now it’s time to get started and now it’s about what we can do on the field and seeing where we are at particularly in regard to the start of the Betfred Super League season and fine tuning those last little details. But, we’re definitely excited.”

On the fixture…

“Salford vs Swinton doesn’t happen all that often anymore so it’s always good when we get to go head-to-head. It’s going to be a great occasion at the The Salford Stadium and I’m hoping we see a big crowd to support the lads for the first game of 2019.”

On squad selection…

“We’ll go strong. The lads who’ve impressed in pre-season will get first shot because you get rewarded and some of the lads have really put their hands up in pre-season. Jake Bibby has come on leaps and bounds while Ed Chamberlain has been outstanding since he joined. We will give the majority of them a game, but we may hold a few back for our second pre-season game against Wigan Warriors next weekend.”

On the two triallists…

“We’ve got young Connor Davies-Aspey who is 16 years old and is from our Salford Red Devils Education Academy team. It’s a big plus for the Salford Red Devils Foundation that he has come in and trained with us and he’s done really well. We’ve decided to give him a one-month trial and maybe hand him an appearance this weekend against Swinton.
“The other triallist is Calvin Wellington who came through the ranks at St Helens and has been away playing Rugby Union. Hgot a very good background. We’ll see how he goes against Swinton.”

On a few injuries…

“Both Josh Wood and Logan Tomkins picked up injuries at the backend of last season and are still recovering.
“Josh Wood has been in full-time training with the squad, but he needs to up his contact a little more before we can give him a game. He’s a little behind schedule for where we need him to be but in the next month, we’ll start to get him where we need him to be.
“Logan Tomkins has missed all of pre-season out on the field and his injury is just about us making sure we get him to the right stage so that he doesn’t struggle again on his return.”

On Swinton Lions…

“Swinton have rebuilt really well, and they’ve got a strong squad. Of course, they’ve signed Gavin Bennion who was with us last season, so he is going to want to have a big game and they’ve got a few other players with Salford links so it’s going to be interesting.”

Tickets are now on sale for our opening Betfred Super League game of the 2019 season against Huddersfield Giants at the John Smiths Stadium on Friday 1st February, 7:45pm kick-off.
Purchase your tickets now from the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office or over the phone on 0161 786 1570. Remember, Salford Red Devils retain 25% of any tickets purchased directly from the The Salford Stadium in advance of gameday.
Junior Swaps are available but Red Devils fans must exchange their Season Ticket for a Junior Swap from the The Salford Stadium in advance of the game. Junior Swaps will not be available at the John Smiths Stadium.
Ticket prices will rise by £4 at noon on gameday, so Salford Red Devils fans are encouraged to save money by purchasing in advance from the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office or over the phone on 0161 786 1570.

Concessions and Juniors: £16
Junior Swaps: FREE
Under 5: FREE
Coach travel is available to book for our trip to John Smiths Stadium on Friday 1st February at the The Salford Stadium Ticket Office and over the phone on 0161 786 1570.
Salford Red Devils are delighted to offer 2019 Season Ticket holders a discounted rate on coach travel for the trip to Huddersfield with all classes being priced at £8. Coach travel for non-Season Ticket holders is priced at £13 for all classes.
The pick-up points and times are as follows:
Chandos Sports and Social Club: 5:00pm.
Royal Sovereign: 5.10pm.
Eccles Town Hall: 5:25pm.
Dog and Partridge: 5:35pm.
The Salford Stadium: 5:40pm.

Salford Red Devils can that tickets for our 2019 Dacia Magic Weekend clash with Hull Kingston Rovers at Anfield, Liverpool on Sunday 26th May are now available to purchase at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Remember, that if you purchase directly from Salford Red Devils at the AJ Bell Stadium, the Club retain all of your purchase fee. 
Salford Red Devils Season Ticket holders can claim a massive 50% discount on their Dacia Magic Weekend tickets if they purchase direct from the AJ Bell Stadium Ticket Office or over the phone on 0161 786 1570. This half-price offer is available up until midnight on 30th April.
There is also an ‘early bird’ window available for non-Season Ticket holders which allows them to claim a brilliant 25% discount on Dacia Magic Weekend tickets. The ‘early bird’ offer is available up until midnight on 7th January. 
Salford Red Devils Category Three allocation is in The Kop end while Category Two unreserved seating is in the Kenny Dalglish Stand. There are both single day and weekend tickets available for Salford Red Devils supporters to purchase.

Salford Red Devils to host local rivals Swinton Lions in pre-season

Salford Red Devils can confirm we will face local rivals Swinton Lions in a pre-season friendly on Saturday 12th January, 1pm kick-off.
The Red Devils hosted the Lions in pre-season last year and are delighted to welcome them back to the The Salford Stadium again in 2019.
Director of Rugby and Operations, Ian Blease, said: “We’re excited to host Swinton for the second consecutive season.
“A big factor in us welcoming Swinton to the The Salford Stadium again was the success of last year’s fixture which saw us renew the rivalry. We’re hoping this fixture can become a bit of a community day and event for all the fans.
“There are a lot of ties between the Club’s and it really is a special fixture which is important to the City of Salford and surrounding areas.
“Of course, this will be the first opportunity for fans to see some of our new signings in action. I hope the fans of both Salford and Swinton turn out in force for our opening game of 2019.”
