Sky Sports have made their selections for TV coverage across August, which includes two alterations to Salford Red Devils’ schedule.

As the Betfred Super League season reaches its midpoint, competition for a place in the top six is getting tighter and tighter each week.

Paul Rowley’s side are right amongst the chasing pack, with eight wins from their first 13 games and some important head-to-head meetings up next.

By the time August rolls around, these clashes could be pivotal.

In Round 20, the Red Devils will welcome Leeds Rhinos to the Salford Community Stadium on Saturday 3rd August, but with a revised kick-off time of 5:30pm.

We will then travel to face St Helens for the second time at the Totally Wicked Stadium in 2024.

The fixture has been selected for exclusive coverage on the Sky Sports+ and has subsequently been moved to Thursday 8th August, 8pm kick-off.

This has been switched from the original date of Saturday 10th August.

Launching this August, customers with a full Sky Sports subscription won’t need to do a thing; Sky Sports+ will simply drop into the existing Sky experience across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q and NOW.

Sky Sports+ will be transformational in the amount of choice sports fans will have access to via live streams, the Sky Sports mobile app and a dedicated new channel, all at no extra cost.

With the capability to show up to 100 live events via concurrent streams, and the ability to live pause and rewind all streams, fans will have an enhanced viewing experience across all sports.

All the information on fixture alterations can be found here.

Our Round 26 clash against Hull KR will now take place on Saturday 16th September, at 7:30pm.

This particular fixture has also been chosen for Sky Sports coverage, with both sides vying for one of the final Betfred Super League playoff spots.

Previously, the tie had been scheduled to take place on Friday 15th September, but it will now play the headline act to a Saturday double-header of live action.

Last time the two sides met, Hull KR continued their charge to the Challenge Cup final with a 28-10 victory at Craven Park.

Despite going into the clash in good form, it was a disappointing afternoon for Paul Rowley’s men, who will be gunning for revenge when we make the long journey to East Hull.

A reminder that tickets for this particular fixture will be on sale very soon, so keep your eyes on our social channels for the latest information!

Our Betfred Super League Round 24 clash against Wigan Warriors has been selected for Sky Sports coverage.

There is no change to date or kick-off time, with the fixture set to get underway at 8pm on Friday, September 1st.

Matt Peet’s side have emerged successful in both meetings in 2023.

The last time we visited the DW, in early March, a 14-8 lead with just 10 minutes left gave Salford a golden opportunity to steal two points.

However, late tries from Bevan French and Toby King turned the game on its head and ended the Red Devils quest for three consecutive victories.

Kick-off time moved forward against Wakefield Trinity

We can confirm that the kick-off time of our second Super League fixture of the season away at Wakefield has been changed to 7:35pm.
The game is scheduled to be shown live on Sky Sports on Friday 9th February and has now been moved forward by ten minutes.
Ticket details for the game will be released in due course.
