TRAINING GALLERY – I’VE GOT THE MAGIC IN ME!

It’s a date in the calendar everyone looks for.

Magic Weekend is upon us and Paul Rowley’s side will be making the trip to St James’ Park on Saturday to face an in-form Hull KR.

Fresh from cup progression and a crucial Betfred Super League victory against Hull FC, the Red Devils will be looking to maintain their spot in the top six with a victory.

Here’s some of our favourite snaps from training this week:

The international break is over and Salford are back!

After six wins from our opening ten Betfred Super League games, Paul Rowley’s Red Devils will look to build-on their pre-break momentum when they got to battle with a tough Leeds Rhinos side on Friday night.

GALLERY – OLIVER PARTINGTON IS BACK!

After a Rivals Round win against Leigh Leopards, the lads are already hard at work preparing for the visit of Castleford Tigers this Thursday.

It’s a short turnaround between games, but spirits are high and the squad was further boosted by the return of Oliver Partington.

February’s Player of the Month was in flying form before suffering a nasty knee injury against Warrington Wolves in early March. The team have coped well in his absence, but his comeback will be a major boost for the final two fixtures before the international break.

GALLERY – ANDREW DIXON RETURNS TO TRAINING!

It’s hard to believe we’re almost a quarter of the way through the regular Betfred Super League season, but six games down, Paul Rowley’s men sit in fifth place.

Despite a spirited performance on Friday evening, two late tries from Bevan French and Toby King took the game away from a hard-working Salford Red Devils side.

Next up, we welcome Huddersfield Giants to the Salford Stadium and the lads have been hard at work preparing for this one. Here’s some of our favourite snaps from this week’s training…

GALLERY – ALL ROADS LEAD TO WIGAN

After a dramatic, golden point victory against Wakefield Trinity, attentions have now turned to our Round 6 clash against Wigan Warriors.

The Cherry and Whites picked up an impressive two points against Huddersfield Giants last weekend, with two tries from Bevan French and one from Jake Wardle.

Salford have been boosted by the return of Joe Burgess and Tim Lafai after short setbacks.

GALLERY – WIRE IN ROUND 3!

After falling to defeat in our first home game of the season last week, Paul Rowley’s Salford Red Devils will be looking to bounce back against a tough Warrington Wolves side.

Currently sat top of the table – winning two from two – Daryl Powell’s men will be raring to go, but it was the Red Devils who staged a stunning comeback at the same ground last season.

Our 2023 Betfred Super League season kicks off against Leigh Leopards tomorrow.

Following a positive pre-season, Paul Rowley’s side will be aiming to win their first ever game at Leigh Sports Village. The newly-promoted Leopards have recruited heavily in the off-season and will be a tough test for the Red Devils to start 2023.

Captain’s run is done. Salford Red Devils are set to take on Wigan Warriors in their final pre-season friendly of 2023.

Paul Rowley’s side will want to build on a positive first-half outing against Swinton Lions last week and gain some valuable match fitness ahead of their Betfred Super League opener against Leigh Leopards.
