Salford Red Devils held their annual Fan’s Open Day last Sunday and once again a huge turnout helped to make the day a spectacular success.
From the minute the doors of the The Salford Stadium were thrown open, fans were able to mingle with staff and players, take a tour around the inner workings of the venue, pick up Junior Devils membership packs, season tickets and pre-ordered shirts, as well as get a first opportunity to buy the 2017 shirt, and the new range of fantastic Raging Bull training wear.
At 11.30 local band Cinnamon Dinner took to the stage to kick the event off proper before CEO Ian Blease took over proceedings with Head Coach Ian Watson to introduce the 2017 Playing Squad.

Match Info for Red Devils vs Warrington
The Red Devils are ready to welcome the Warrington Wolves to the The Salford Stadium this Thursday 3rd March, KO 8pm.
The visitors come into the game this week on the back of three victories, the first away at Leeds Rhinos and then two wins at the Halliwell Jones Stadium against Hull KR and Wakefield Wildcats. They currently sit in second position in the First Utility Super League table.
In 2015, the Wolves won both the home and away fixtures against the Red Devils, the first a season opening 22-8 win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and then a 34-16 win at the The Salford Stadium in May.
Red Devils Head Coach Ian Watson named his 19 Man Squad for the game earlier this week, making just one change to the side that faced Wigan last week. Adam Walne returns from injury to replace Olsi Krasniqi.
Tony Smith also named the Warrington Wolves 19 Man Squad which excluded Kurt Gidley and hooker Daryl Clark but saw the return of former Salford player Stefan Ratchford and new signing Mitchell Dodds.

Breaking Barriers say Thank You to fans!
At Sunday’s game vs Widnes Vikings, we were joined by ‘Breaking Barriers’ a charity that aims to support disabled children, young people and their families.
The Charity was founded in 2012 by parents of disabled children and helps families so they feel empowered and better able to manage whatever situation they currently face.
They were invited along to the game to do a bucket collection and had a wonderful experience at the game. They raised nearly £350 and were interviewed on the pitch at half time.
The Charity are very grateful for all the kind donations from fans and wanted to say thank you for your generosity.
Steph Sherratt, Co Founder of Breaking Barriers and Mum, said,
“We believe in equality of opportunity, the celebration of difference and aim to challenge and remove barriers to inclusion.
“The support of Salford Red Devils is extremely important to us as a Charity and we are very proud to be associated both with the lottery and with the club.
“At the game on 21st February the generosity of the club and the fans helped us raise almost £350.
“Every penny goes back into making sure we reach out to as many families as we can as often as we can.
“Thank you to everyone at the Salford Red Devils for your continued support and belief in us.”
Important Stand Info for Saints Game
Earlier this year we announced to fans that we would be closing the South Stand for the first three home fixtures for a trial period.
After consultation with fans in both East and South Stand the club has decided that we will trial the ability for fans to choose whether they sit in the East Stand or stand in the South behind the posts.
South Stand Season tickets and South/East Stand Match tickets can be used in either East Stand (where you must sit in the seats provided) or South Stand (standing) for the games against St Helens, Widnes and Warrington.
Choose which area you prefer before the big game and enter via the turnstiles for that chosen stand.
Maybe you fancy being with your mates in the South or for a change you want to get close the action with a seat in the East. Either way, the decision is yours.
Obviously ground regulations still apply, i.e. you will be asked to watch the game seated in the East and changing stands mid game will not be permitted, however the Club are looking to create a wall of sound in the TV games so we would like you to try out the East Stand as a vantage point.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in ejection, stadium ban or club fine.
Don’t forget tickets are on sale from the The Salford Stadium ticket office by calling 0161 786 1570. The Ticket Office is open until 10pm weekdays.
