An update on our end of season awards

Following the unfortunate cancellation of our End of Season Awards on Monday evening, we can now confirm plans to celebrate our winners’ efforts this season this Friday.

Marking our final home game of the season, we’re delighted to announce that the awards for our men’s team will take place on the pitch following the game, and we invite all supporters to remain in the stands to show their appreciation for winners and their teammates.

Our women’s, reserves, disability and academy awards will take place pre-game in the platinum dining lounge for guests to enjoy.

End of Season Awards Evening Cancelled

Our End of Season Awards Evening scheduled to take place on Monday 18th September has been cancelled.

Due to illness within the playing squad and to prevent it spreading further to our would-be attendees, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s End of Season Awards Evening event.

Whilst we do not expect to announce a rearranged event at a later date, we will still be honouring the efforts of our winners appropriately. Further details will be communicated in due course across our platforms.

Refunds will be issued to all ticket purchasers imminently.

Salford Red Devils vs St Helens – Thursday 21st September 2017

This evening we host St Helens in our final game of the 2017 season and here are all the details you need to know ahead of tonight’s Super 8s clash.
Tickets
Tickets can still be purchased tonight by simply going to the Club Ticket Office at the side of Main Reception. There will be no increase in cost due to it being matchday.
Even though Under 6’s can enter for free they will need to collect a ticket from the Club Ticket Office. Season Tickets are valid for tonight’s game.
Red Devils fans will be situation in the West and South Stands while St Helens fans will occupy the East Stand. Turnstiles are set to open at 18:45.
End of Season Awards
Following tonight’s game we will host our End of Season Awards Evening in the 1873 suite. Fans can purchase tickets for this event from the Club Ticket Office prior to kick-off or following the game. Tickets will cost ยฃ5.
After the final whistle you will need to leave the The Salford Stadium and re-enter via the Main Reception where you will exchange your ticket for a wristband before going up to the 1873 suite.
If you already have a ticket for the 1873 suite you will be allowed to watch the End of Season Awards without paying the additional cost. The same also applies for anyone dining with us this evening.
There are several awards to be handed out including Coaches Player of the Season, Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters Player of the Season. It would be great if as many fans as possible come up following the game.
1873 Suite
Fans can upgrade to 1873 Suite tonight prior to kick-off and will just have to pay the difference between their ticket price and the ยฃ30 which it costs for a VIP ticket.
Of course, anyone who upgrades prior to kick-off gets to experience the 1873 suite before the game as well as the End of Season Awards afterwards.
All people who buy a ticket for our End of Season Awards will need to be wristband before they head up to the 1873 suite for our End of Season awards.
Platinum Suite
There will be entertainment in the Platinum Suite tonight as musician Becky Chamberlain will be performing. You can check out her website here.
Also, the Man of the Match Award will be presented for the Platinum suite and some of the non-playing players will be interviewed.
Pre-match, Half-timeย and Post-Match
Before kick-off tonight Salford Red Devils legend Jackie Brennan will present the ball to James Child. Brennan captained the Salford in their last ever visit to Wembley for the 1969 Challenge Cup final.
At half-time we will again have our kicking competition where one Red Devils fan will go head-to-head with a St Helens fan to see who is better with the boot. The Red Angels Dance Team will also be performing prior to kick-off and at half-time.
Following the final whistle players are likely to come and take pictures and speak to fans as per usual however with the game being broadcast on Sky Sports as well as our End of Season Awards evening taking place this may reduce the time players spend out on the field post-match.
Raging Bull
Our Raging Bull stand will be here prior to kick-off for you to purchase all your Red Devils gear. Remember last week we announced a 20% discount on all of our items as part of our ‘Super 8s Super Sale’ and this offer is still valid at tonight’s game.
We must stress there is limited stock and limited sizes available.
Foundation Activities
As always the Salford Red Devils Foundation will be in attendance at tonight’s game and the Astroturf beside the Fans Bar will be open with activities for children. The Red Devils Foundation Gazebo will also be set up for ‘Golden Tickets’ and more information on the Foundation’s work.
Food and Drink
The Fans Bar inside the marquee will be open from 6pm for fans to get drinks prior to kick-off. The food vans outside the Fans Bar will also be open at 6pm. Kiosks inside the ground will be open
The Red Devil
You can purchase today’s programme from our programme sellers who will be situated in and around the The Salford Stadium for ยฃ3.
#ForeverSalfordian
Last night the Club confirmed that we would maintain the ‘Salford Red Devils’ name but a new Club crest will be announced in the near future.
We started to use the hashtag #ForeverSalfordian on our social media platforms and we encourage all you Red Devils to use this and send us your pictures from the game with this hashtag.

Details for Thursday's End of Season Awards

Last week the Red Devils confirmed their would be an End of Season Awards evening following our final game of the 2017 season against St Helens on Thursday.
The event will take place in the 1873 suite and will be open to all fans and will cost ยฃ5. However, anyone already with a VIP ticket or in hospitality won’t have to pay the extra ยฃ5.
People wishing to attend the End of Season awards can buy a ticket from the Club Ticket Office and then this will then be exchanged for a wristband on entry at reception.
Fans can purchase their tickets following full-time but will need to leave the stadium and come round to the Ticket Office and main glass doors at reception. However, fans can also purchase their tickets before the game but will still need to come to the main reception in order to get a wristband.
We hope to see as many as you there to celebrate this fantastic season with the players in our 1873 suite.

Let's end the season in style

The Red Devils host St Helens in our final game of the season on Thursday 21st September, 8pm kick-off, and this gives the club and the fans the perfect opportunity to celebrate this season in style.
This season we have earned our highest ever Super League finish in the regular season, reached our first Challenge Cup semi-final for twenty years and earned our first ever Super League play-off/Super 8s victory.
And, now it’s time for the club to come together and remember this remarkable season with our final game of 2017 against St Helens.
Tickets are available over the phone, at the Club Ticket Office or online here. The Club Ticket Office will be open from 9am-9:30pm every day throughout the week. Season Tickets are valid for our final game of the season.
Following Thursday night’s game we will present our end of season awards in the 1873 suite with general admission ticket and Season Ticket holders having to pay ยฃ5 for admission. However, VIP ticket or Season Ticket holders will not have to pay the additional cost.
This gives fans the perfect opportunity to give the lads the reception they deserve and to celebrate with the players. Also, fans can thank those players who will be leaving at the end of the season such as Michael Dobson, Olsi Krasniqi and Todd Carney who have all made contributions this season for the Red Devils.
In addition, all Red Devils Season Ticket holders have a fantastic hospitality deal available to them for this final game of the season. Season Ticket holders can purchase hospitality for ยฃ60 per person including VAT to finish the season in style including a sumptuous three-course meal, access to the Man of the Match award and a VIP seat to watch our final game of the season.
We have also slashed all our Raging Bull stock by 20% including replica shirts, polo shirts, tracksuit pants, bags and rucksacks, shorts and even scarfs as part of our ‘Super 8s Super Sale’.
