Statement | Asif Latief resigns from Club’s holding company board

Salford Red Devils wish to announce that Asif Latief has resigned, with immediate effect, from his position as a volunteer member of the Club’s holding company board in order to spend more time with his family.
Asif joined the board at the start of 2018, having spent a number of years as a trustree of Salford Red Devils Foundation. As the Club continues its evolutions as a community owned organisation, Asif felt the time was right to step down and allow others to carry on his progress.
Still being passionate about the Club and its ability to serve the local community, Asif will remain a trustee at the Foundation, where he will be able to make a positive impact on its community and player development strategies, as well as a committed fan on game day.
The Club would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Salford Red Devils are looking to confirm the appointment of non-executive directors in the near future as well expanding the current Salford RD Holdings Ltd board.
