Ryan Brierley has been voted September’s Player of the Month.
For the third time in 2023, our brilliant fullback has won the award ahead of teammates, Kallum Watkins, Tim Lafai, Ken Sio and Oliver Partington.
After winning the award in August, Brierley continued to show his class in our late playoff charge across September.
Despite missing out on the six by just two points, the 31-year-old won Coaches’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year, in recognition of his outstanding individual season.
Brierley – who now has a hat-trick of POTM awards – said: “Thank you for all your votes once again – it doesn’t go unnoticed.
“I am just devastated we couldn’t make the playoffs, but I know Paul Rowley has already begun preparations for us to be better; and with a bit of luck on our side, I believe we can compete for silverware.”
A huge congratulations to Ryan for winning the award, once again!
