Salford Red Devils are pleased to announce the signing of centre Kris Welham from the Bradford Bulls on a 2 year contract.
Welham joins the club with a strong Super League pedigree having played over 190 games for Hull KR over a 9 year period.
The Centre will be looking to recreate his form from 2016 in which he scored an impressive 29 tries in 30 appearances for the Bulls.
Head Coach Ian Watson is delighted to welcome Kris to the club, he said;
βThe unfortunate situation with Bradford means we have been able to benefit with a quality addition to an area where we were short. Kris has proven over the years he is a super league player with great ability. Everyone you speak to says he is a great guy with a good mentality so will fit well with what are creating here at Salford.β
Red Devils C.E.O Ian Blease is also excited by the prospect of seeing Welham link up with the rest of the squad as they continue preparation for the new Betfred Super League season;

Kris and the rest of the Salford Red Devils return to action at the The Salford Stadium against Hull FC in a friendly game on the 29th January.
