The Salford Red Devils are delighted to announce that £29,000 was raised for the support fund for the victims of the Manchester attacks at Friday’s game against Catalans Dragons.
The game was free to enter for supporters, with spectators given the opportunity to make a voluntary donation inside the stadium. The people of Salford and beyond responded in wonderful fashion, raising the impressive total.
CEO Ian Blease is delighted with the response, and has issues the following message to supporters;
“I’d like to thank everyone who donated on Friday, it was a fantastic atmosphere on the night and the rugby league community has shown a huge display of strength and support for the victims of the terrible attacks.”
