The Salford Red Devils will be making the entry fee to Fridayβs game vs Catalans Dragons voluntary, with all proceeds being donated to the families of the victims of the attacks in Manchester on Monday night.
The Red Devils send our condolences to families and victims of the atrocities, and encourage supporters to give generously on Friday night.
Chairman Marwan Koukash is confident that the Red Devils faithful and beyond will come out in force, he said;
“This is chance for the club and our supporters to show their respects to the victims of these horrible attacks, and show unity in the face of adversity.”
CEO Ian Blease is hoping that supporters will join the club and the people of both Salford and Manchester in showing solidarity, he said;
βLike everyone I was absolutely shocked and horrified by the attacks on Monday night. At times like these we need come together with our neighbours and show a sign of strength, and do what we can to support the victims.β
Supporters will need to collect a ticket and submit their donation from the stadium box offices.
