The Salford Red Devils will be looking to get back to winning ways this week as they travel to the Select Security Stadium, home of the Widnes Vikings.
The Devils come into the game on the back of a disappointing defeat against Warrington Wolves last week, and will be aiming to improve their fortunes this week, as we approach the Middle 8 section of the season.Β
Head Coach Ian Watson is keen to see a good performance, as the team look to take momentum in the 8βs, he said;
βItβs important that we finish off this league campaign, weβve spoken about it, we want to finish it strongly now so we achieve what we set out to at the beginning of the season, and then go into the middle 8βs strongβ.
The two sides have already met twice this season, with Salford coming out on top both times, beating the Vikings 28-20 at the AJ Bell, and then 18-12 at St James Park in the opening game of the Magic Weekend.
Salford are boosted by the return of top meter-maker Justin Carney, who has missed the previous games through suspension.
