The Salford Red Devils go into Saturday’s game against Leigh Centurions looking to build on a hugely positive performance against Huddersfield Giants in the opening game of the Super 8 Qualifiers.

The Red Devils recorded a 34-12 win against the Yorkshire side at the AJ Bell and looked good value for the win as they welcomed debutants Luke Burgess and Feleti Mateo.

Ian Watson’s side will make the short trip to Leigh Centurions on Saturday looking to replicate this good form and force a repeat of the last time these two sides met, when the Red Devils ran out 46-18 winners.

At the forefront of the attacking threat offered by the Red Devils is speedster Mason Caton-Brown. The winger has been in fine form since returning from injury, scoring two hat tricks in three games.

Leigh come into the game in good form having won the Championship trophy, but struggled in last years Qualifiers failing to beat any of the Super League opposition.

Salford Red Devils 19 man squad: Luke Burgess, Mason Caton-Brown, Michael Dobson, Niall Evalds, Mark Flanagan, Josh Griffin, George Griffin, Weller Hauraki, Greg Johnson, Sean Kenny, Craig Kopczak, Olsi Krasniqi, Rob Lui, Feliti Mateo, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Gareth O’Brien, Junior Sa’u, Logan Tomkins, Jordan Walne
