Red Angels

Who are they Red Angels?

The Red Angels Dance Team consists of 22 female dancers who perform at every Salford Red Devils home fixture at the The Salford Stadium.

The Dance Team was founded by Head Coach Georgina Bieluinas in 2012. Georgina has over 20 years’ experience in dance and cheerleading having also been a vital part of the cheerleading team at The Willows. She began coaching towards the end of the Red Devils stay at The Willows and continues to do so. Since the Red Angels began dancing, they have established themselves as one of the most credible and renowned dance teams in the Betfred Super League and have made dance an integral part of the Red Devils matchday experience. Their first performance came at the Leigh Sports Village alongside past Red Devils mascot – Neville the Devil. At the time, they were possibly the smallest dance team in the Betfred Super League, but they have grown from strength-to-strength and now have a solid team ranging between 14 and 32 years old.

In 2019 the demand for a younger dance was huge so Red Angels Juniors were launched! With the help from the senior dancers our first training session for the juniors was a great success with 15 juniors in attendance. This team has grown from strength to strength and despite the 2020 lockdown this team is still getting bigger and better!

During 2020 lockdown senior dancers Charlie and Mol were able to take their qualifications in coaching! Well done girls! Red Angels Junior team love performing at the home games of Salford Red Devil’s and can’t wait to get back to it!

Dance in the Community…

Some of the Red Angels compete at the National Championships which offers them opportunities to compete at the European Cheerleading Championships or even the World Championships in Florida.

Some of the Red Angels are also part of other dance and performance groups across Salford and take part in other sports, also. When the Red Angels aren’t attending home games at the The Salford Stadium, they attend charity events, support the Salford Red Devils Foundation and promote the Club at every opportunity.

When and where do the Red Angels practice?

The Red Angels train once a week on a Monday evening in Winton to ensure the matchday choreography is always ready.

The Red Angels sponsors…

The Red Angels Dance Team have a fantastic sponsor behind them which make being a Red Angel enjoyable and easier and allow more young members of the community to attend classes and be a part of the best dance team in the Betfred Super League.

Style Logistics N/W Ltd are one of the Red Angels key partners and they can be found HERE.
