Salford Red Devils director Paul King said: β€œThis agreement is a symbol of the direction in which the club is travelling ahead of the 2020 season.
β€œTo have formed a partnership with a global brand shows the level the club intends to operate at, following our Grand Final appearance.
β€œWith Morson’s head office based in Salford, it also highlights our identity as a community club.
β€œWe’ve been really encouraged by the number of businesses coming forward to support the club since our play-off campaign and hope to see this continue ahead of the 2020 season.”
The announcement of the new partnership follows Salford’s appearance in the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford, which received record TV viewing figures for the competition.
2019 has also been a significant year for Morson, with the Eccles founded recruitment and engineering design company, celebrating its 50th anniversary in business.
Ged Mason said: β€œWe’re delighted to be involved with Salford Red Devils.
β€œOur company head office is still based in Salford and I lived and went to school in Salford, so there’s a lot of heritage.
β€œI’m obviously proud of my roots and thought it was a good time to support the local club.”
He added: β€œThe Grand Final was a great event for the whole city, which led to me being asked to support the club and I was delighted to get the main sponsorship position on the shirt.
β€œHopefully the momentum and enthusiasm from the final will carry on and the community will get behind the club.
β€œLocal businesses have had the opportunity to advertise on the shirt as well, which was a great idea, and I’m pleased that the winning company, Cannon, are based in Trafford Park, so quite local.
β€œThe benefits that Salford offer through TV coverage now, and their performance on the pitch, elevates what they offer to sponsors.
β€œThe coverage was one of the decisions which helped me decide to advertise on the shirt, because of the fantastic reach it has.
β€œI know the back office are working their socks off to help the club and get more sponsorship in and I think if we can all rally round and support our local club, and support the local community, it will be an exciting season ahead.”

Red Devils commercial manager Hannah Kilby said: β€œWe’ve been really pleased by the response from the business community, towards this initiative.
β€œIt has proven that there’s an appetite for further involvement with the club and how much the recent play-off campaign has reengaged people beyond the traditional fanbase.
β€œAs a result of our thrilling end to the season, we saw a number of companies show interest in our main sponsorship opportunity, with one determined to secure the position outright.
β€œThis has allowed us to increase the level of overall investment, while still offering great value to our raffle entrants.
β€œWe would like to take this opportunity to thank the entrants for their understanding on this.”

RED DEVILS EXTEND SPONSORSHIP DEADLINE

Salford Red Devils have extended the window for businesses to enter the draw which gives them a chance of becoming the club’s main sponsor.
Due to a surge in demand during the Red Devils’ Betfred Super League play-off campaign, which has placed the team just 80 minutes away from a Grand Final appearance at Old Trafford, the deadline for the draw has been extended until Wednesday 16 October.
A fee of Β£1,000 + VAT will see businesses entered into a draw to have their logo displayed as the main sponsor and open access to more than Β£112,000 worth of media value, to businesses of all sizes.
Entrants can also nominate a good cause to adorn the front of the Salford Red Devils shirt and be named Official Club Sponsor for the entire 2020 season.
Salford Red Devils commercial manager Hannah Kilby said: β€œWe have been really pleased by the increase in interest over recent weeks.
β€œThe exposure our current sponsors have been gaining while the team is competing in the play-offs has showcased the value on offer in this draw.
β€œOur ties against Wigan and Castleford received some of this season’s highest TV viewing figures from across the competition and displaying the brands of our partners at these prestigious events has emphasised how enticing this opportunity is.
β€œWe have also been pleased to see individuals enter charitable causes into the draw, and would be delighted if one of these took centre stage in 2020.”
Each entrant, or their chosen good cause, will continue to be announced on the club’s social media channels. All bid entries will receive a lower west stand seating season ticket for all Betfred Super League fixtures at the The Salford Stadium in 2020. Multiple entries will result in additional collateral, such as a signed matchday ball.

The cap on entries will remain the same, meaning the extension will not reduce entrants’ chances of winning.

“I would not hesitate in recommending Gary and Arlec Property Services to anyone. From the minute quoted, Gary was a consummate professional with excellent communication from the start to the finish of the job.
“We have had a double extension with the garage being converted into a kitchen and extra bedroom added, and whilst our plans changed throughout, nothing was too much trouble for these guys. More pleasingly, was the reliability of Arlec and the tradesmen turned up when they were supposed to every day for three months, treated our house and family with the utmost respect and were fast and more importantly tidy.
“Due to the standard of work carried out by Arlec, I have since given them several commercial jobs and recommended to friends and family with further work planned and agreed for later this year. “
