There will be a packed schedule of pre-match activity at the The Salford Stadium ahead of Salford Red Devils’ Super League fixture against Catalans Dragons.
The region’s emergency services will be providing plenty of excitement throughout the afternoon as part of the ‘Blue Light’ celebration.
The scheduled action will start with a Masters RL match between Cadishead Rhinos and Hull Warriors at 1pm, before things really heat up, as Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service put on the first of their chip pan fire demonstrations, which will take place at 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

Greater Manchester Police will have a clear presence throughout the event, with their horses on display outside reception, Panda cars at the front of the stadium and a Tactical Aid Unit with riot gear for all to experience.
Supporters will be taken back to the past, with staff from the police museum in period costume with their stocks. North West Air Ambulance will meanwhile be making sure that supporters themselves look the part, with face glitter in their gazebo, in addition the face-painting on offer in the marquee.
Mascots from North West Ambulance Service, Greater Manchester Police, Blood Bikes Manchester, North West Air Ambulance and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service will be around to engage with supporters alongside Salford Red Devils’ very own Dr Devil, before they get competitive in a mascot contest at half-time during the Super League match.
With resuscitation dolls, ambulances, blood bikes and a host of North West Ambulance Service staff also at the stadium, if anyone has been struggling to find entertainment for Sunday afternoon, the event is a lifesaver.
