Supporting George’s Foundation this Friday

In addition to the celebration of our Emergency Services, we will be holding a collection ahead of Friday’s game against Catalans Dragons, in support of George’s Foundation – an independent organisation supporting various initiatives in Ghana.

The collection point will be located under cover front of the West Stand – and we’re asking fans to show support by donating the following items, food and toiletries:

  • Baby wipes
  • Nappies
  • Bars of soap
  • Role on deodorant
  • Tooth brushes
  • Tooth paste
  • Sponges/flannels
  • Baby shampoo
  • Baby wash
  • Shower gel
  • Moisturiser
  • Sanitary towels
  • Condoms
  • Biscuits
  • Tinned food
  • Small toys
  • Shoes
  • Baby clothes
  • Blankets

George’s Charity seeks to make a positive difference in Ghana and continues to support life-changing initiatives within local communities. Already having raised funds and supported the creation of an orphanage, the charity is now aiming to enable the building of a maternity ward, as well as specifically funding an eye operation for a mother, pregnant with triplets, who lost her sight during the pregnancy. This invaluable procedure will allow the mother to see her children for the first time.

We encourage all supporters to show their support by donating the above items for George’s Charity to deliver to Ghana.

Supporters can also donate directly to one member of the travelling groups’ fundraising pages here.

Club Statement: Fan Behaviour at Hull KR

The Club is aware of and is investigating incidents of anti-social behaviour reported at our game against Hull KR on Saturday.

The reported incidents have placed others at risk and can result in the club being issued heavy fines.

We are proud of the passion so often displayed in the stands by our fans, and whilst we understand the excitement on the field can get us all carried away at times, it is our collective responsibility to ensure a respectful and safe environment for all to enjoy. Disorder and the behaviour of a small group should not and will not be allowed to give our supporters a bad name.

Weโ€™d like to remind our supporters that we condemn such behaviour, and that once reviewed, the Club will be taking appropriate action and issuing bans to any offenders identified.

End of Season Awards Evening Cancelled

Our End of Season Awards Evening scheduled to take place on Monday 18th September has been cancelled.

Due to illness within the playing squad and to prevent it spreading further to our would-be attendees, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s End of Season Awards Evening event.

Whilst we do not expect to announce a rearranged event at a later date, we will still be honouring the efforts of our winners appropriately. Further details will be communicated in due course across our platforms.

Refunds will be issued to all ticket purchasers imminently.

A Blue Lights Celebration in Round 27

Salford Red Devils will host a โ€˜Blue Lightโ€™ celebration of the regionโ€™s emergency services at the Betfred Super League fixture against Catalans Dragons – the final game of the 2023 regular season.

The fixture now marks a second consecutive year where the club has celebrated the emergency services with a dedicated round.

Heading into Round 27, the game itself could have implications on both club’s standings come the end as Salford push for the playoffs, whilst the Dragons are looking to secure the top spot.

Paul King, Managing Director of Salford Red Devils said;

“It’s a huge honour that we’re able to come together and show our gratitude and support for our incredible emergency services once again.”

“This season we have been fortunate enough to celebrate some fantastic organisations and causes that each play such an important role within our community, and so to close out our home calendar by doing it once again is extremely fitting. I’m sure all of our supporters will join us on the 22nd in showing our appreciation.”

Supporters can secure their tickets for what promises to be an action-packed final day of the regular season by clicking here now.

Paul Rowley announced as Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity ambassador

Paul Rowley is today announced as the newest ambassador for the Greater Manchester Mayorโ€™s Charity.

On Sunday 10th September, Salford Red Devils play Warrington Wolves in a mouthwatering spectacle with both teams vying for a place in the playoffs. However, the club are also using the game to spotlight an important social issue โ€“ joining with the Greater Manchester Mayorโ€™s Charity in the united fight against homelessness.

Ahead of the game, it is with great pride that Paul Rowley is announced as the charities newest ambassador.

Speaking during his announcement, Paul Rowley said;

โ€œHomelessness has no place in our great city region, and thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m proud to become an Ambassador for the Greater Manchester Mayorโ€™s Charity.

Iโ€™ve been inspired by what the charity has achieved since they launched, delivering incredible fundraising events and championing great initiatives to support people rough sleeping, experiencing homelessness, or worried about losing their home.โ€

No-one should be without a safe, secure place to call home. Everyone should have that dignity and that comfort.โ€

I know everyone at the club and our supporters will be ready to get behind this important cause. You can start by signing up to Greater Manchesterโ€™s biggest ever sponsored walk, Circle Home.โ€

Salford Red Devils are champion partners of this great event, and you can find a walk near you wherever you are in Greater Manchester, including right here in Salford.โ€

Together, we can end homelessness.โ€

Fran Darlington-Pollock, CEO of Salford Red Devils said;

โ€œWe’re so pleased to welcome Rowls as an ambassador for Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.

We know he shares in our belief that homelessness has no place here in Greater Manchester and with his advocacy and the support of everyone at Salford Red Devils, change really is possible.โ€

2024 Season Tickets Launched

Salford Red Devils today launches its matchday and season ticket pricing for the 2024 campaign.

After consultation with our owners and following four consecutive years of frozen ticket pricing amidst inflation, rising costs to the club, and with gate revenue being the backbone to club income, the prices of matchday tickets – and subsequently season tickets – will increase for the forthcoming campaign.

We have heard feedback suggesting that the ticket purchase process can at times be complicated, and so in an effort to streamline this this we have elected to restructure the ticket banding.

Our ticket bands will now be as follows: Adult, Over 65s, Under 18s, Under 12s.

In previous years, there had been an increase in price between standing or seated tickets for our youngest fans. As we seek to make the Salford Stadium a destination for families, we donโ€™t feel the choice to stand or be seated, should impact the children attending. Therefore, we have removed the price increase for Under 12s.

Our matchdays will remain amongst the most affordable in Super League, and the club are committed to pursuing that this continues to be the case.

September Special

Secure your favourite seat at the best price and buy your season ticket during the September Special!

Supporters will be able to secure their season ticket for the best price for the entirety of September โ€“ with full priced season tickets on-sale from October 2nd. Seat reservations and the ability to renew will also run until October 2nd, meaning supporters can secure their favourite seat and/or spot at the best price right away.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit will once again be an option in 2024. Supporters who wish to pay monthly for their season ticket, whilst still retaining their seat, will be able to do so over 9 months with the option becoming available on the 20th September, and the first collection being taken on November 1st. The direct debit price is a 10% increase on a full price season ticket. If you are renewing your season ticket as a direct debit for the first time, please contact the ticket office on ticketoffice@ajbellstadium.co.uk.

Accessible Ticketing

Salford Red Devils are proud to be an inclusive club and we welcome all fans to the Salford Stadium. As we aim to deliver a safe matchday, meeting the needs of all visitors, we have reviewed our accessible ticketing policy. We are aware that some supporters may be unable to visit without the support of another person. With this in mind, we, in line with many other leisure venues will continue to offer a free personal assistant should one be needed – however those not requiring assistance should now purchase a ticket within the appropriate band.

Further changes include a 25% reduction on season tickets to all fans certified as either sight impaired (partially sighted) or severely sight impaired (blind).

To offer a fair and consistent approach, from 2024 onwards we will only be accepting the following documents as proof of eligibility for the complimentary carer ticket:

  • Proof of entitlement to disability living allowance for children under 16 or DLA/personal independence payments for those aged 16-64 in the form of a letter stating the benefit has been awarded, dated within the last 12 months
  • Attendance allowance or carer’s allowance letter of award, dated within the last 12 months
  • Access Card showing +1 symbol
  • Letter from a medical professional aware of your needs which should be on headed paper and clearly state the impact of your diagnosis.  This letter should be dated within the last 12 months.

This applies to both season tickets and individual game day tickets for both home and away tickets purchased via our ticket office.

Complete and further information can be found here.
